About Us

Renee Ryan, MS, RD is a Registered Dietitian dedicated to weight management and sports nutrition counseling and education. As a sports nutritionist, she develops and presents sports nutrition seminars to NCAA Division I Intercollegiate teams, competitive high school teams, and private club teams in Silicon Valley. Her nutrition counseling experience includes sports nutrition, weight management, and medical nutrition therapy.

Renee is a faculty member in the Dept. of Nutrition, Food Science, & Packaging at San Jose State University where she teaches Nutrition for Sport, Health, and Wellness. She is an active member of the the California Dietetic Association, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition (SCAN) dietetic practice group.

Renee received her MS degree in Nutritional Sciences from San Jose State University and her BS degree in Biology. Renee enjoys running and competes in races at the 10K, half-marathon, and full marathon distances. As an avid sports fan, Renee can be found cheering on her kids as they compete in their sports.
